About us:
We are a general used and rare book shop, strong in many fields, including art, architecture and
photography, first edition, and miniature books. We have about 70,000 books in all fields. We
are members of the
Antiquarian Booksellers Association of America (ABAA),
the
International League of Antiquarian Booksellers (ILAB), and the
Massachusetts and Rhode
Island Antiquarian Booksellers (MARIAB).
Our history:
Named in honor of the revolutionary era printer and philanthropist, founder of the
American Antiquarian Society (AAS), we began our business in 1969
in Worcester, Massachusetts, our home for about 20 years. We relocated to Cotuit, on
Cape Cod in December of 1990. We occupy the latest of 5 Crocker family houses in the area,
built ca. 1860, which we have expanded and painted pink and four other colors.
